Take the first two letters from my name (Patty), then the first two letters from the names of my two favorite men in my life (David & Magnum)...and there you have it; "Padama"!!!

"You've Been HO'D" (WHAT??)...

Once we arrived back at the home~front (from our “Merry Wolfeboro Christmas”… see previous posting), there was a gift bag sitting in front of our entry door (How exciting ~just when we thought our Christmas was over, there’s a gift just waiting for our arrival~).

The guesses of who had dropped this gift off were almost endless, seeing that we had “Boo’d” quite a few people over the Halloween holiday. We thought that maybe one of them wanted to return the gesture in more of a festive way… touche’, as we did not know about this festive tradition (but now we do, so can’t wait for next year now!!).

So I guess the only thing to do now… is to reveal the contents of the bag, in hopes to reveal who the elf is (this tradition is called "Elfing"). It appears though, that this elf wanted to put a little 'twist' to this delivery (by saying Ho'd, instead of Elfed).

This is what first caught our attention in the bag... the piece of paper (peeking out the top of the bag) that read ‘You’ve been Ho’d’… Hey, is someone trying to tell me something?? Nooooo, David’s not a Ho!!

As we are pulling all of these wonderful items out of the bag…

How did this elf know that we LUV choc~ooooh~late?!!
There's supposed to be 2 balls for this pic but Magnum just couldn't wait ... he just had to have one, and who am I to deprive my Baby~Boy of such things.
I'm assuming that this ornament is for my Sweety since he's such an enthusi"ass"t (hee~hee, just kidd'n Sweet~tay).
But hey, is that really a Harley?? No worries, my Sweety is smartening up & will get a real bike 'eventually' (one with less problems) ;-)).
That's right, besides nice wine... I also like my Cosmo~Pattian's (which is in the martini family). This elf "really" knows us!
Those are lolli~pops... right?? ;-)))))))
.
Once I saw the bottle of Chianti in the bag, that’s when I knew who the mystery elves were (Susan & Ed). You see… David had emailed me at work one day asking what my favorite wine is (which he already knows to be a nice Italian Chianti) so I had to ask what was up with this question. He tried a couple ways to get it out of me (specifics of Chianti) but I don’t let up that easily (it's the woman in me) when I know that something peculiar is going on. Long story short, it was revealed that Susan was the one wondering.
I had just chalked it up to her wanting to know so she could have some of my fave wine at her house for their annual New Year’s Eve party.
Guess I was wrong (I know, I know, it does happen… sometimes!).
Ya ever get the feeling that someone is watching you???

Anyhoot, If there was any doubt at this point who they mystery elves are, there isn’t anymore. Check out what the last gift is that we pulled out of the bag…
Thus bringing us back to the night we had “Boo’d” them.
Betty Davis has "nothing" on Susan (just look at those eyes... gorgeous!!).
And just look at Eddie............. Just say no Ed!

Here's a group pic (including some cookies in this pic)...

Well done guys!!

We love to ‘give’ to others cuz it makes us feel good (for many reasons) but it sure did feel great to get this from our good friends… Eddie & Susan!! Nighty~Night guys!! ;-)

A Merry Wolfeboro Christmas...

Being that we were in Wolfeboro for my BIRF-DAY (see previous post!), and being that it was Christmas , this meant it was PaDaMa's 2nd annual Wolfeboro, NH Christmas extravaganza.

We did our ‘usual’ activities… window~shopping (or should I say that this one is MY usual thing to do and I dragged David along; hee~hee), watching movies, enjoying the outdoors with Mags, going out to eat plus some take~out this time around, enjoying our slob~fest (munchy foods and whatever else we can get our hands on), playing pool, David enjoying some wobbley~pops while I enjoy the better stuff… wine, and last but not least… some “winky~wink” stuff (we’ll leave this one to the imagination) ;-))).

Another annual thing for us to do is to open a gift (stocking stuffer gift) on Christmas Eve (aka… my birf~day). This means I get to open two (one for my birf~day and one for Christmas Eve). I don’t understand the rules, I just make them (LOLOLOL)!! Anyway, my gift was a razor (I think David grew tired of me using his so he decided to get me one of my own).

David opened one of my favorite gifts for him… boxer~briefs. I likey how these look on him so I bought 4 of them for him (he looks SEX~AY in them!!) This gift is a win~win… for all parties involved!! ;-))

When we awoke Christmas morn, we headed downstairs to the Christmas tree to open our gifts. But wait!! We have no X~Mas tree in NH so we improvised & just placed them on the kitchen table …

As you can see, they are placed neatly in groups per David, then Magnum, then Moi’.

These gifts are all just stocking stuffers. The bigger, more expensive gifts are either at home or not purchased yet… these gifts are:
Magnum’s orthopedic bed (at home), my heated gear (pants, socks~yet to be purchased) and David’s gifts for his soon~to~be “bar” (yet to be purchased). What are we waiting for, you ask?? I don’t know exactly… we’re procrastinators I guess. There’s no rush though since I won’t be riding for a while I imagine & the basement is still being worked on.

Anyhoot, Magnum got treats, different sized bones, shampoo, toothpaste, Frisbee & a tennis ball in his stocking (he’s obviously been a good boy this year ~even though his stocking says… “Santa, I can explain…”~ LOL.

I had gotten a Pier 1 gift card, Lindt white chocolate truffles, Harry & David milk chocolate truffles; which David had eaten, Moose~Munch, 2 bags of Peppermint bark; which David had eaten most of them; lol, lip balm, razor, The Original Television Christmas Classics collection (Rudolph, Frosty, Santa, Drummer boy). I guess I was a good girl this year!!

David had gotten a caramel~chocolate covered apple, an I~Tunes gift card, boxer~briefs, socks, travel sized items (powder, mouthwash, toothpaste, lotion, wipes, toothbrush, deodorant), lip balm, sneakers, 2 shirts, protein bars and a Seinfeld “Scene~It” game. David was definitely a “Good~Boy” this year (Winky~Wink!!).

Once that was all passed us, we indulged in more eating, more drinking & playing games. We played 4 games of pool and I won 1 of them but this was only because David scratched (I don’t care, I’ll take that win dammit!!). A win is a win!!

I guess I did okay in buying that Seinfeld game for David cuz he kicked my Azzzz in that as well. I won 1 game (the first one) and it was all down hill for me from that point. I never stood a chance, the man knows his Seinfeld.
That’s okay, I’ll be on the outlook for a Timmy (Tim McGraw) “Scene~It” game and we’ll see who beats who in that game!! Bring it!!

All in all, the rest of the weekend was spent relaxing, and enjoying each other's company ~ our own little get~away from the rest of the world!!

Merry Christmas!!

Birthday Girl (MOI')...

I can now officially say that I am forty~something (but believe me when I say that I am NOT bragging about this), since I just turned 41 on Christmas Eve. But what a beautiful birthday it was!!

My first gift of the day was David's card to me…I’ll keep this private but let’s just say that any card, song or poem that he writes for me is always a favorite of mine!!!

My Sweety also surprised me with tickets to go see "Wicked" (YAAAY!!). We did this on the 21st. This musical is based around the Wizard of Oz... it reveals how the witches come to be who they are. I *highly* recommend you seeing this musical as it is absolutely phenomenal!!

This was just Part One to my birthday. Part Two? Well, it's been decided that going to NH will be an annual vaca for my birthday/Christmas so off we went to celebrate. While there (we went the morning of), my Hunni bought an ice cream cake for me (YUM!)...

and suffice to say, that cake was finito' by the next day (he helped too and so did Mags… he likes the vanilla ice cream part of it!!).

David let me open one of my stocking stuffers (my pick) for my b~day too and YAY, it was a gift card for Pier 1 Imports (he knows that I LUV this place!!). Let’s not forget that my Hunni is also helping me out with the big purchase of new tires for my car. He wants me safe while driving in this snowy/icy weather…He’s so good to me!!

He had also planned to take me to our favorite Wolfeboro restaurant, Mise' en Place, for a b~day dinner but since it was closed for the weekend (aaaaaw!) we just picked on things for the evening such as: chips & dip, garlic bread w/ butter, ice cream cake and stocking stuffer chocolates (keeping it healthy, oy!). Magnum was right there too, par~taking in our slob~fest!! (Not to worry, a healthier way of eating is right around the corner, coming in January.)

Oh, and we had to wash that all down with something so we had made this festive drink (a pitcher full) called “Poinsettia”. This concoction is made up of Champagne, Gran Marnier & Cranberry juice. Can you say “Yummy~Licious”?? I, myself alone, had finished the entire pitcher and was feeling, let’s say… happy! David got “merry” off some ‘wobbley~pops’.

My Hunni made my day very special for me!!

A few other people had made this day special for me as well. My sample~peeps is what I call them... these are the people in my department at work (we call my dept. "The Psyche Ward 101"... cuz we're all CA~RAAAZY, lol).

First, they each brought food, snacks & drinks (non~alcoholic, damn!) in for my party at work. All food was meatless (see, they are very intuitive to my life~style).

Further; they are very observant in what I enjoy out of life so check out these gifts:

They all pitched in and gave me a *very* generous gift certificate for The Kalled Gallery. Very cool, eclectic and/or whimsical art in this gallery. I was sooooo excited when I opened this gift, that I actually think I did my Happy~Dance. Better yet, I think they actually got that dance on video (Ugh!) Hopefully, it doesn't make You~Tube (lol).

I also got a bottle of vodka... not just any vodka... my favorite vodka, Grey Goose Baby... yeah, time to make the Cosmo~Pattians!! Thanks Minnie~Me!!

I got 2 video's from Le ~her annual gifts to me~(Chick~Flicks as some would call them)... "Baby Mama" and "Maid of Honor"... Thanks Le~Roy, watched them and LUV'd them both!!! You know what I like, girl (don't tell anyone, but David enjoyed them too)!!

A "death by chocolate" cake which was choc~ooooh~licious, from Tha, along with an "anti~stress comfort wrap"... (he must know where I work) (and might I add that this gift is environmentally friendly... gotta love the thought put in to these gifts, LUV IT!!) and a Symphony bar (YUM!).

Tammy gave me a set of wine glasses (for the bar that David's putting in, in our basement)... Thanx for knowing that I am a Wine~o Tam~Tam & John!! ;-)) David also thanx you both for his shooter glasses (very, very intuitive of you, lol).

Charlie (or more like, Charlie's wife.. lol) got me a bag of goodies; a Christmas book which holds nice festive quotes, an eco~friendly water bottle (yay!) & chocolates.

My bestest friend in the whole wide world got me the annual gift of Whitman's chocolates (wrapped, as if I don't know what it is... lol) along with birthday balloons. Little does she know that I will be re~gifting these balloons back to her next week for 'her' birthday. Hee~hee!!

In addition to all of these lovely surprises.. Sam, Zak (David's niece/nephew) & Patty (their mom/my new friend) gave me a beautiful hand~made picture frame (made from the one & only, new & upcoming artist ... Samantha ~aka, Sam). Such talent!! ;-)) Thanx for thinking of me guys! Fyi... Sam & I share the same 'festive~time of year' birthday except hers is ON Christmas Day... she must know what it means to get heart~felt gifts as such (Thx Chickie).

So, all in all, I am very lucky to have so many friends and so much love in my life... I thank you all for your part in all of my gifts!!

Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday dear MOI', happy birthday to meeeeeeeeeeeeeee... ;-)))

*Deck The Halls*

It's that time of year again (My personal fave~o~rite!!) so up to the attic I go (ha!... who am I kidding~~~>David goes ~hee, hee~) to dig out all of the Christmas decorations. And what a good sport he is since to my understanding, he has never decorated the house prior to my residence here (aaaaaw, that saddens me). Now on to more happier thoughts... "decorating"!!...

We decided to decorate the outer extremities first. This means hanging the nice, pretty, dangley, swag lighting off the trim of the house.
Always sounds like a lot of fun prior to actually following through with it but then comes the time for untangling the wires and trying to straighten them all out so they're not all kinked in different directions. Oh yeah… we’re having FUN now!

Just in the midst of all this fun, our neighbor was outside with her new puppy & asked if Magnum could come over to play . I looked up at David (while he was up on the ladder hanging lights) and he said that it was okay, that he’ll finish the lighting on his own… WOOOOOO~HOOOOOO were my thoughts (but don’t tell him that!!).

Anyway, I got back home just in time… to watch David take pictures of the “lighting of the house”. Nice job Sweety!!

The next day will bring the interior decorating (which is my forte’).
David put some Christmas cd’s in to get us in the mood (yes, David helped too)… Fa la la la la~la la la laaaa!!!

Here’s some pics of the house during this beautiful time of year…

And let’s not forget that Christmas cards from friends & family are also part of the decorations. As much as I love how these decorations make the house look, come the beginning of the new year… I always look forward to getting the house back to order, and can’t get these decorations packed away fast enough.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!

Birthday Boy~~~>

I remember the day I met my Baby~Boy!! He was just 6 weeks old & it was love at first sight, first kiss.

As I was viewing my choices of the litter, one in particular came walking up to me & slapped a wet~one right onto my lips… that’s when I knew he was the one for me. That I would provide a ‘forever home’ for him from that moment on (well, at least from the moment that I could take him home, which wasn’t for another couple weeks).

His present, temporary mommy put a dab of red nail polish on his head to mark him as mine. She told me, when I was leaving, that I could come back to visit him anytime but that I couldn’t take him home until he reached 8 weeks of age.

I didn’t particularly care for the nail polish labeling so I decided to buy a collar for him that night & went back the next day to put it on him (this was also an excuse to go back to see him). After all, I’d achieved visitation rights and I proceeded to use them… I went back to visit 3 times that week. On the last day (at 7 weeks of age), she told me that I can take him home, that she was comfortable knowing he was going to a nice, loving family (personally, I think she grew tired of my visits…lol).

My baby’s birthday is on December 10th and this past Thursday we celebrated his 10th birthday.

This particular morning when I awoke, I extended birthday wishes to my baby & gave him ‘extra’ attention, luvin’s, playtime and extra treats too!!
But, I do have to provide for my boy too so since his birthday falls on a week day, I have to get on with my daily routine and that means… off to work I go.

I’m en route and decide to text the other boy in my life, asking if he said Happy Birthday to Mags this morning. Check out his response…

“I did – me and the squirrels & birds had a party out back this morning, with a ginormous cake and everything. We couldn’t believe you slept through it!”

Ha, Ha, Ha… This is only part of why I love him so!!

David and I had planned to just hang out with Magnum after work in celebration of his birthday. Unfortunately, David had to work later than usual so I decided to take Magnum for a birthday ride. We just cruised around Walpole with his window down so he could enjoy the cool wind in his face while his floppy ears flapped in the wind (Life is good!). We got back to the house & we played outside longer than usual (I made sure to bundle up to tolerate the cold temp.). Magnum has 2 layers of fur so he can withstand the cooler temps more than I can. Just when I couldn’t tolerate it any longer… YAY, Daddy arrived and took over (Daddy’s able to stay out there longer than Mommy can and Magnum “greatly” appreciates this ~~AS DO I~~).

I had gotten a gift from Le (a coworker of mine) that day, for Magnum (Le knows Magnum very well, Magnum calls her his step~mommy). Le also knows that Magnum loves to munch on bones. After the outside playtime, we rewarded Magnum with his gift from Le…

I’ve always wanted to have a doggie~party and invite all of Magnum’s K~9 friends but it never seems to happen because of Christmas events/activities getting in the way, weather, blah~blah~blah… Maybe someday that will happen, but no worries since all Magnum really wants anyway is~~~> Mommy & Daddy’s attention and affection! Well, not only did he get these things that night… he gets this all of the time from us. We just hoped to give a little extra on this particular day.

Happy Birthday Mag~a~nummies!!

Mini PaDaMa Vaca...

David spoke the words, “Wanna head up to New Hampshire this weekend?”. So without hesitating, “Can’t wait!!” was my response, while Magnum was barking with excitement in the background.

The plan was to leave the house immediately after getting home from work on Friday, so we packed & got everything ready the night before. I get out of work earlier than David (3:30) so I have a little play~time before he arrives home. On that note, I joined a few work~peeps for a drink (or two!!) after work that Friday at a close~by bar & grille (close to work anyway, in RI… I have a 35-40 minute commute home). I told them I could only go for one drink but of course once you’re there & having a great time… the time just passes by without even realizing that HEY… I’M LATE!! Yeap, I got home 50 minutes late. Thankfully, Mah~Man is ‘very’ understanding & said he was glad that I had a good time with my friends (AAAAAAW… Who’s better than him??).

From that point, we rolled out of the driveway (cuz David had packed up the jeep while waiting for me to arrive home) and headed up north (YAY!!). Excitement is in the air for all of us (especially Mags… he loves field~trips with Mommy & Daddy).

Weekends spent in Wolfeboro are always amazing. We always love the outdoor activities with Magnum (hiking, geo~cacheing, walking, jogging and/or window~shopping) “except” the weather was not compromising. It was a wash~out!! Unfortunately for Mags, mommy loves the rain and so upon wakening on Saturday morning, I took Magnum out for a morning walk/jog.
Mags especially loves it when we (Mommy, Daddy & Mags) settle in for some movie~time cuz we all gather together on the couch/chair (we bring the chair over to the couch & connect it in an L~shape pattern so we all fit on it) and huggle (e.g. hug, snuggle and/or cuddle).

We spent the rest of the morning/afternoon eating badly, watching movies & fooling~ around (winky~wink!!). Oh come on~this is what grown~ups do when on vacation (and when home and…). Anyway (hee~hee), I had made reservations for later that night at our favorite local restaurant, Mise’ en Place. We look forward to dining here, especially this time of year (fall) since they have a phenomenal Pumpkin Ravioli dish on the menu. As always, it was Yummi~licious!! We always share a bottle of nice red wine with dinner and then we head over to The Wolfeboro Inn to finish off our night out on the town. Then, we finish off our evening with a night~cap (or 2 or 3 or???) back at home & of course, we pig~out with munchy type foods.

Oh, I almost forgot… whenever in Wolfeboro, I must go visit a certain gallery on the main strip called Kalled Gallery. I absolutely LOVE this gallery… each time I visit, I have a set dollar amount to purchase another great piece of art. My first purchase was this whimsical wine rack.

Last December, (for my 1st time) David brought me to his NH home for my (40th) birthday, as well as to celebrate our first Christmas together, and that was the start of my love for this gallery. (This NH trip will become an annual event for us – yay!).

I had seen the aforementioned wine rack & couldn’t get it off my mind. Each time we went back up to NH, I just had to visit this gallery & noticed that same wine rack still sitting there. I finally broke down & purchased it (of course after making sure that David also liked it enough to bring it into our home). It took a little convincing but we finally agreed on it. Now that I have this rack, my thoughts are now focused on another piece at the gallery… a wall vase with flowers (all made of wood… Cherry wood, Dark Oak wood & also Birch wood)… GORGEOUS!!
This trip is when I purchased this item (I love visiting this gallery). This one item does not meet my set dollar amount so this means I can purchase another item (Ha, Ha!!)…
I'd seen this mini tapestry hanging in the gallery and thought it was nice and all, but upon closer inspection, it was the whimsical wrought iron rod from which it hung that sealed the deal. Is that sharp or what!
Let's see; wooden flowered wall vase? Check!
Wrought iron rod with tapestry? Check!
Preset dollar amount reached? CHECK! ;-))

While I was there, I had set my eyes on a very cool indoor water fountain and also an ecclectic floor vase that stands very high (hmmm, which one will be my next purchase??). I have almost 2 months before our next trip up here to make up my mind.

Sunday morning normally finds us up early, scrubbing the house (gotta leave things neat and tidy for the next time), and then on the road home (to catch the Pats game!!). This weekend, however, the Pats weren’t playing until 8pm, which allowed us the luxury of relaxing for an extra half-day before starting the cleaning/packing/driving process. The weather outside was cold and dreary so we just relaxed for most of the morning into the afternoon doing things that grown~ups do (hee~hee)… What? I said it was cold and raining out, remember? We had to keep ourselves busy (and warm)… indoors!

Eventually, we headed out at an hour that allowed us to arrive home in time to settle back into reality by catching the Pats game. A great end to a great weekend!

But then came Monday, and another work week. That’s when it was really back to reality!!

GIRLS GET~AWAY...

So one day at work, speaking with Claudia (my friend from work); I mentioned how David was planning a bike trip with the guys. I went on to say that I've always wanted to do a girl's get~away but it always seemed that my girlfriends either didn't have the funds, or our timing was off, or they couldn't break away from their significant other (God forbid!! lol). Well to my surprise, Claudia chimed in with saying that she would go on a trip with me (imagine; I finally found a friend that isn't afraid to break away from the every day life & live a little... YAY!!). No offense to all of my other Chickies as I understand it is very difficult to just get up & go these days but 'just like that', Claudia & I started making plans and about 2~months later... we are hopping on a flight to West Palm Beach, Florida (YEEEAAAH~BABY... BRING ON THAT TROPICAL SUN!!).

Now when I say that Claudia & I were making plans, I may have misspoken cuz ya see... the only role I played in this planning thing consisted of meeting up with Cluadia at a restaurant to discuss the deets about where our destination would be & once that was decided, she invited me to her house (which by the way is "gorgeous") to "book" our vacation which is where she did all the work while I just drank her wine & admired her house endlessly. I just answered any of her questions with answers like "whatever you think Claudia". I'm thinking that maybe she should've charged me a planning fee for all that work she did for us. BUT what you don't know about Claudia is that she is a traveling~junkie and this planning stuff comes second nature to her. None~the~less... she did do all of the leg work & I (who doesn't get out that often) greatly appreciate her traveling knowledge... made life easy; no stress. Thanks Claudia... I'll plan the next trip ;-)).
We planned on getting to Florida for around noon time (this was carefully planned so that we would have time to settle~in to our new home yet also have time to familiarize ourselves with the area & figure out what we would be doing for the next 4 days/3 nights that would follow. It was great getting there at that time, but a great sacrifice would come along with it... arising out of bed at 3:15 aaaay~em!! I had planned on getting to bed early the night before but of course it didn't pan out that way (ugh!)... I believe I only got about 4 hours sleep (David too, unfortunately). I have the bestest boyfriend in the world cuz he did not complain about any of this... he awoke & chauffered my azz to the airport & saw me off (to think that I'll be going through all of this again for the trip back as we set it up for the same schedule).
This is where I met up with my friend Claudia, and so the pics begin (us at the airport)...

With all of that being said, we are staying at the very prestigious "The Breakers" hotel. I had no idea just how prestigious this place was going to be but OMG, I felt like I was part of the "Rich & Famous", vacationing there... except for me being without the $$ & also without the fan base. I can't speak for Claudia on that same note but judging by her house, she's higher up on that ladder than I am, lol.
This is where we stayed...

Just as we had planned, we arrived & settled~in to our room...

We were originally supposed to have a room with only one bed, which we would've shared.
Now~now boys... we're not "that" kind of girlfriends, lol. But being the traveling expert that she is, Claudia had them upgrade our room once we arrived, to a room with 2 beds (without the extra charge... you go girl!!

We then quickly ventured out to the grounds of The Breakers (which by the way, covers 140 acres)... no, we didn't cover all 140 acres, we covered just where there was booze, which leads us to The Ocean Grille. This is where we enjoyed our first drink(s) & some lunch. Let me give you an idea of the type of place this is (Expensive!!)... our lunch consisted of a couple drinks (4 actually), a couple wrap~type sandwiches along w/ fries & onion rings & the bill came out to ninety~something dollars (OWWWIE). We actually went back there for lunch another day (what were we thinking??... Oh I know...we're on vaca & the food is yummi~licious & the drinks are even better). Anyhoot... check out our first day here, enjoying some tropical frozen drinks...

After enjoying our first couple drinks & getting some 'real' food into us, we did a little window~shopping, more sight~seeing (on the premises) and then as the sunlight was fading, we decided to freshen up & change into something more night appropriate. We headed down to the Tapestry Bar where we had a couple drinks (or a few, I can't quite remember... lol). From there, we headed to the Seafood Grille where we continued with quenching our thirsts.
Here's some pics of the evening as it went on (mind you that I was consuming equal parts of H2O along with my drinks & Claudia did not (lol).
They should've called those yummy drinks... Wobbley~Pops by the looks of it. Hey claudia, watch out for the wall!!

This is the next day (for Claudia)...

While Claudia was napping pool~side, I felt great & wanted to release some energy (I was fired up & ready to go) so I took advantage of the spa & worked out for an hour, then went to the outdoor lap pool & did some laps.

I went back to check on my friend to find her still napping so I stayed at that pool (which is called "The Relaxation Pool"... no kids, no cell phones... just relax), went in the pool & did some more laps. I was feeling pretty good at this point so decided to just catch some of those tropical rays at this point. This is The Relaxation Pool...

I applaud Claudia for even attempting to get outside after the night before(she was a little hung~over)... we went poolside & then went to the outdoor Jacuzzi which over~looks the ocean (notice the lap pool in the background).

This is where I believe that Claudia went wrong... she was 'done' after getting into that jacuzzi (I don't think the hot temp of the water did any justice for that hangover of hers)... she soon went back to the hotel room in attempts to sleep~it~off.

I took this time to venture back to the spa to make use of the steam room. Me at the spa (notice the tan I am sporting)...

Then I layed~out for the balance of the afternoon to get more of that Floridian look to take home with me.

The wind started picking up so I decided to call it a day out there & head back up to the room in hopes to get Claudia up & ready for our 2nd evening (I was ready to get another night of drinking in!!).
I bet you can guess that that didn't happen (lol). But we did have a nice, enjoyable, easy evening. We ventured out to town for some food (Thai food).

Here's some pics of the evening (look how great she looks, even hung~over, Bee~otch!!)...

As the days & nights went on of our trip, we took more pics (I'll summarize)...
Me feeling 'happy'... I need more 'happy~drinks'.

Claudia's joining in on the happiness!! Look at those 2 beautiful 'happy~drinks' right there on the table (they make us happy!!)!!
Wind remnants from Hurricane Ida... Claudia holding on for dear life!!
Not only is Claudia model height but just look at her... gorgeous!!
Me trying to pose 'model like' (I am only a mere 5'3" though... but those heels bring me up a few inches)... but not quite model~height like my friend.
Sitting at the pool with the ocean right behind us (we weren't allowed to go into the ocean water though; had an undertow warning)... damn Ida!!
Stay away from him Claudia... he's just a pig! Is this how the swine flu got started??

Claudia getting along with the locals.
I hope David's not viewing this blog!!
Don't worry Robert, it was just for a few days... she's coming back to you. It meant nothing!
What can I say... saw this sexy machine while out shopping. Couldn't just walk by.
I wasn't kidding when I mentioned at the beginning of this post that this place is for the Rich & Famous. Matt Lauer was sitting at the table beside ours one evening at the Seafood Grille. I didn't want to appear 'star~struck' so I maintained my composure the entire time sitting near him but all along, I just wanted to just ask him if I could get my picture taken with him. Oh well, maybe next time (That's right... David said he might be interested in going there with me in the future if I liked it there that much)!!

We also heard that Jenna Bush was there for a wedding and Fergi, too (not Boom~Boom~Pow Fergi but rather; Fergi.. Duchess of York) was there as well. They say that a lot of royalty vacation here. How the hell did I ever get in this place?? They obviously don't know where I'm from!! Actually, they don't care... as long as you're a paying customer, right??

Suffice to say, we had an excellent time on our vacation. I can't wait for my next vaca... which (since I'm posting this a little late) already happened which was in NH with my 2~boys last weekend (I'll try to get that post up sooner than later).

As much fun as I had with my girlfriend, I was soooooooooo happy to see my boys driving up to the pick~up spot at the airport, to pick me up & take me home. Which get this, this is where I met Robert (Claudia's husband) for the first time. Well, I met him once eons ago at a bar w/ Claudia but so much time has gone by since then that an official meet was needed yet once again.

Home Sweet Home ~PaDaMa~!!
Oh, did I mention that David's "boys~trip" unfortunately never happened for him but imagine, this is how the thought of my girls~trip started.
